I went to see Jennifer Knapp and Derek Webb perform last night.<\/p>\n

Just a few scribbled thoughts:<\/p>\n

It was a good show! Jennifer especially can project some serious emotional energy at the drop of a hat.<\/p>\n

Recurring theme in just about every other song: Don’t be afraid.<\/p>\n

Derek Webb is incredibly short.<\/p>\n

I love percussion, but have really found drum-sets distracting the past few years (especially in church). It was refreshing that the entire show was solo voice + guitar. They did a few harmony numbers at the very end.<\/p>\n
